Airline
For the past couple of months I have been debating which airline from the United Emirates is best to fly? Is it Emirates or Etihad?
They are both surperb airlines with a fanstastic reputation and offer great deals and now the deals they offer are so close in price it really now depends which airline should my preference be with.

Yesterday I took a flight using Brussels Airlines from Malta through to Manchester as they came up as the cheaper option. Overall to be honest the flight was not too bad and what happened was not their fault. This was an airline when it was Sabena I vowed never to fly again as they lost my luggage every time I flow with them. The chance of this happening again was near none as every other airline I have flown with including ones with extremely short connections they have never lost my luggage. The only airline I have lost luggage with 100% of the time from several flights is Sabena/Brussels Airlines. This journey allowed me to retain my 100% luggage loss rate!
Firstly I took off using Air Malta which was delayed by an hour due to problems with flights leaving Brussels put down to weather. Once we departed the overall flight to Brussels was fine and landed an hour late leaving less than an hour for me to change terminals and get my connection. The information Brussels Airlines provided to me was limited and I had to dash through the airport with little to no information on how to get my connecting flight. Through sheer fluke I made my connection but my luggage did not. They put down the blame to Air Malta although it was their airline and their airport that my luggage did not make it through.
Upon landing in Manchester we were left sitting on the plane for another 20 minutes because they could not power down the engine. This did not come as a surprise and something which I expected from this airline. My advice to you is use a different airline to Brussels Airlines even if it works out more expensive as avoiding the headaches is well worth it.

Easyjet is a budget airline which has been in operation for over ten years and has proven itself to be one of the largest carriers of passengers through Europe which is only rivalled with RyanAir. Easyjet in my eyes is a great airline to fly and take holidays with as you can get tickets very cheap indeed if you book well in advance and during less popular times.
Easyjets’ website has been laid out to be easy to follow and show prices as they are. It is very important when booking through Easyjet that you take into account luggage as they charge extra for this as well as taxes as this is normally added on later. Easyjet will not refund your ticket should you miss your date of travel and changing your ticket is subject to strict conditions.
However Easyjet is cheap and flies to amazing locations throughout Europe to a fraction of the cost of other carriers. So thumbs up to Easyjet!
Tips to get a cheap ticket
The best way to get a cheap ticket with Easyjet is to book online, and be flexible with your dates. Avoid flying peak days and weekend and try flying Tuesday through till Thursday as these days tend to have less people flying than days close to the weekend.
Getting a free upgrade
Getting a free upgrade with Easyjet is unheard of as they only have one class of travel. However for an additional few pounds you can get Speedy Boarding which allows you to board ahead of others and get the first choice of seats. Speedy Boarding in my eyes is a waste of time. However if you checkin with hand luggage/online or early you will be able to normally board before the regular passengers and there is no extra charge for this.
